Mrs. Amos has worked in public service for over 25 years. She worked for the Houston Police Department for 6 years, the U.S. Postal Service for 17 years, and with the State of Texas as an Investigator for Children's Protective Services for almost 3 years.
Mrs. Amos graduated with honors from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology (minor in Values, Law and Policy). She is also an honors graduate of Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She received her 40-hour Basic Mediation certification, as well as her 30-hour Advanced Family Mediation certification, from the University of Houston Law Center in compliance with Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code Section 154.052 (a) and (b). She is a Credentialed Mediator with the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, a member of the Texas Association of Mediators, and she is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas.
Mrs. Amos and her husband share a blended family of five children. Her passion for her own family contributes to her dedication to her client's families. She has a personal and professional ability to be fair and impartial, while advocating for the welfare of her clients.
