Realizing her passion to help those who could not help themselves and her passion to learn more about the legal system, she went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, which makes her a complete TSU Tiger! While attending law school, Attorney Pharms worked in both the Harris County Attorney's Office (Child Protective Services Division) and at the Harris County Public Defender's Office, helping her obtain the necessary skills and an inside view on how the system can work for our clients.
We would like to salute Attorney Pharms for being a breast cancer survivor. Attorney Pharms has been in remission for 7 years. Since beating cancer, not only has she graduated from law school and launched a new career as an attorney, but she was able to give birth to a healthy baby girl! She's a real hero!
