OUR MANAGING ATTORNEY

Kesha L. Amos, Esq.

With more than 30 years of public service experience, Attorney Kesha L. Amos brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to her legal practice. Before founding The Law Office of Kesha L. Amos, PLLC, she served in respected institutions including the Houston Police Department, U.S. Postal Service, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Harris County Attorney’s Office, and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS). Her lifelong commitment to service continues to guide her mission of advocating for individuals and families with integrity and excellence.

Attorney Amos focuses her practice primarily on family law matters, while also representing clients in probate, criminal defense, and personal injury cases. She is known for providing clear guidance, strategic advocacy, and compassionate representation during some of the most challenging moments in her clients’ lives.

Attorney Amos earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology, graduating with honors from the University of Houston, where she also completed a minor in Values, Law, and Policy. She went on to graduate with honors from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. In addition to her legal credentials, she is a trained mediator, having completed both the 40-hour Basic Mediation and 30-hour Advanced Family Mediation certifications at the University of Houston Law Center, as required by Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code §154.052(a)-(b).

Beyond her professional achievements, Attorney Amos and her husband are proud parents in a blended family of five children and one granddaughter. Her personal experiences deeply inform her empathetic and balanced approach to advocacy. Whether guiding clients through family law matters, probate proceedings, or litigation, Attorney Amos brings a powerful blend of insight, integrity, and heart to every case she handles.

Désireé Washington

Désireé Washington began her legal career in Austin, Texas, where she gained extensive experience in family law and personal injury matters. She holds a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Texas at San Antonio and brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to her role at The Law Office of Kesha L. Amos, PLLC.

Désireé’s expertise includes legal drafting, client management, comprehensive research, discovery, mediation and arbitration support, and detailed preparation for hearings and trials. In 2023, she joined the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, further expanding her professional development and network within the legal community.

Known for her attentiveness and empathy, Désireé ensures that every client feels heard and supported. She takes pride in delivering high-quality work and is dedicated to providing each client with an exceptional legal experience.

Kristian L. Lucky

Kristian brings fresh energy and a strong background in customer service to The Law Office of Kesha L. Amos, PLLC. As the firm’s Intake Specialist, she is often the first point of contact for new clients, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning. Her responsibilities include screening incoming inquiries, scheduling consultations, and coordinating key appointments such as mediations and meetings.

Kristian also plays a vital role in keeping clients informed by providing timely updates and maintaining open communication throughout each case. Known for her friendly and welcoming demeanor, she helps set the tone for a positive client experience. With a genuine compassion for helping others, Kristian is dedicated to making every client feel valued and supported every step of the way.
