Attorney Amos holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with honors from the University of Houston, where she also earned a minor in Values, Law, and Policy. She later graduated with honors from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. In addition to her legal credentials, she is a trained mediator, having completed both the 40-hour Basic Mediation and 30-hour Advanced Family Mediation certifications at the University of Houston Law Center, as required by Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code §154.052(a)-(b). She is a Credentialed Mediator with the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association and an active member of the Texas Association of Mediators. Attorney Amos is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas.

Desiree Washington embarked on her legal career as a paralegal in Austin, Texas, specializing in family law and personal injury cases. With a paralegal certificate from the University of Texas - San Antonio, Desiree brings extensive experience to her role.
Her expertise includes drafting, client management, comprehensive research, discovery, handling high-value cases, facilitating mediations and arbitrations, as well as meticulous preparation for hearings and trials. In 2023, Desiree proudly joined the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, expanding her professional network and knowledge base.
